New Zionist aggression targets Syria

DAMASCUS, Jan. 02 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy carried out, at dawn today, a new aggression targeting several points in the countryside of Damascus in Syria, causing material damage.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said in a post on its Facebook page that at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, the Israeli enemy carried out an aerial act of aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting several sites in Damascus countryside.

The aggression caused some material damage, the ministry added.

On Saturday evening, the Zionist enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea west of Latakia, targeting some points south of the city of Aleppo, which resulted in some material losses.
