Geologist: A foreign company to loot gold in Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – A Senior Reservoir Geologist has revealed a new scandal for the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in oil-rich Shabwa province, eastern Yemeni.

“The pro-coalition government is in the process of granting the so-called “Giant International” of China the right to explore for gold and metallic minerals in Wadi Al-Awarad, north of the Bir Ali area in the coastal district of Radhum,” Engineer Abdul Ghani Gaghman said in a post in his X account.

“ The Chinese company has nothing to do with gold exploration and is not specialized in this field,” He added, describing the granting the company those privileges as a “big prank”.
