Iranian-Saudi-talks to hold to operate direct flights

TEHRAN, Dec. 10 (YPA) – There are no restrictions related to resuming direct flights between Iranian cities and various Saudi cities, head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh, confirmed on Sunday.

Bakhsh said, in statements reported by the Iranian “Tasnim” agency, “the launch of negotiations, next week, to operate direct flights between the two countries.

“In coordination with the Iranian ambassador in Riyadh, Alireza Enayati, several joint meetings were held with the head of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailj,” he added.

On April 8, a Saudi delegation arrived in Tehran to discuss opening its country’s embassy and consulate, and on the 12 of the same month, an Iranian delegation visited Riyadh as part of a plan to reopen the Tehran embassy and its diplomatic missions in the Kingdom.
