SANAA, Dec. 05 (YPA) – The Gulf of Aden witnessed unprecedented seismic strikes and sea tremors during the past hours of Tuesday, with predictions of more of them in the coming days.
Seismic monitoring centers reported that the earthquake that struck the Gulf of Aden with a magnitude of 5.6 was followed by another earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale, followed by a marine tremor off the coast of Yemen with a magnitude of 4.7 Richter.
The centers explained the transmission of seismic energy after the Pakistan earthquake and the Aden earthquake, expecting that another tremor and earthquake may extend to East Africa, the Red Sea, the Dead Sea, eastern Anatolia, and the Mediterranean Sea during the coming period.
