Health ministry condemns targeting farm in Yemen’s Taiz

SANAA, July 9 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned on Monday deliberately and directly targeting of  a citizen farm by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes in  Khadir district of Taiz province, which killed six citizens and injured four others, including children.

In a statement received by Yemen Press Agency, the ministry condemned the negative attitude of the international community toward the crimes committed by  aggression against the Yemeni people, which reflects the extent of collusion with the coalition countries.

The ministry confirmed the coalition attacks killed 11,112 civilians , including 2,254 children, and injured  22,348, including 3,282 children, read the statement.

The statement pointed out that the number of deaths due to indirect aggression and the siege reached to  200,000 civilians, as well as the suffering of 25 million from the deterioration of food and medical security.

The statement also confirmed the continuation of the ministry in carrying out its duties in the care of the wounded and providing all possible health services under the current conditions..
