Hamas condemns Zionist attacks on hospitals in Gaza Strip

GAZA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – Member of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Izzat Al-Rishq, denounced the Israeli occupation forces’ attacks on hospitals housing displaced civilians under the pretext that hospitals are being used for military purposes.

Izzat Al-Rishiq said: “The occupation’s targeting of hospitals and displaced people inside them is a war crime. The attempts to blackout the media by the occupation did not succeed and the world sees the image of bombed health institutions.”

“The occupation’s allegations of using the hospitals for military purposes by Hamas leaders are baseless lies,” he added.

For her part,Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila said that what is happening in Gaza now is a catastrophe that has not been seen before in history, as hospitals are besieged, bombed and people killed, including patients, medical staff, and displaced people, in full view of the world.

The Israeli occupation forces shelled hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including Al-Shifa Complex, Al-Rantisi Children’s Specialized Hospital ,and the Indonesian Hospital, which was subjected to intense bombing over the past days.
