Armed forces shoot down American aircraft over airspace of Yemeni territorial waters

SANAA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Yemeni air defenses managed on Wednesday to shoot down an American MQ9 aircraft while conducting hostile actions, monitoring and espionage in the airspace of Yemeni territorial waters, as part of the US military support to the Israeli entity.

The Armed Forces explained in a statement that the plane was shot down with the appropriate weapon, affirming it legitimate right to defend the country and counter all hostile threats.

The Armed Forces also stressed that the hostile moves will not dissuade the Yemeni armed forces from continuing to carry out military operations against the Israeli entity in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.
