Update: 9,770 Palestinians, including 4,800 children, killed in Israeli aggression on Gaza

GAZA, Nov. 05 (YPA) – Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that the number of martyrs in Gaza since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 9,770, including 4,800 children.

Spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra said in a news conference that the ministry is unable to transport the wounded to Egyptian hospitals for the third day in a row.

He explained that 70% of the victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza are women and children, noting that the Ministry received 2,660 reports of people missing under the rubble, including 1,270 children.

Al-Qudra revealed that the Israeli occupation has committed 24 massacres during the past 24 hours and killed 243 citizens, stressing that the occupation has been practicing a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing since the war in Gaza began.

“There are no safe passages, which is a lie used by the occupation to attack the people of Gaza, as it committed massacres against 1,031 families since the beginning of the aggression against the Strip,” he explained.

Reuters quoted Egyptian security and medical sources on Sunday as saying that evacuations from the Gaza Strip to Egypt via the Rafah crossing have been suspended since yesterday, Saturday.
