STC leader assaults High School Principal in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 30 (YPA) – A leader of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) attacked the principal of a High school in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition’s factions.

The director of Jaafar Aman High School in Sira District, Mr. Fahd Nasser Al-Awlaki, confirmed in a complaint submitted to the concerned authorities that he was attacked by an STC-affiliated official in the directorate, Hussein Jarallah.

In the complaint, he stated that Jarallah seeks to interfere in the administrative affairs of the school amid direct threats against the school principal in front of everyone.

The explained that barbaric interventions hinder the progress of the educational process and frustrate both teachers and the administration.

According to the complaint, the STC was only interested in the anthem before the establishment of the Republic of Yemen and raising the flag of “separation” without paying attention to the most basic rights of teachers and students.

He called on the concerned authorities in the Education Office to put an end to the abuses and interventions carried out by the STC leaders.
