Army launches offensive on coalition-backed militias in western coast  

HODEIDAH, July 7 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Saturday launched an offensive on the Saudi-backed militias in Yemen’s Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that units of the army carried out ground attacks on gatherings of militias north of Tuhita district on the western coast.

Dozens of the militias were killed and injured during the attack, the official added.
