WORLD, Oct. 17 (YPA) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Tuesday a US-Israeli agreement on a plan to bring aid into the Gaza Strip.
“Today, at our request, the United States and Israel have agreed to develop a plan that will enable humanitarian aid from donor nations and multilateral organizations to reach civilians in Gaza, including the possibility of creating areas to help keep civilians out of harm’s way,” Antony Blinken said in a post on his X account.
He also affrimed that US President Joe Biden “will visit the occupation state on Wednesday, to show solidarity.”
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) called for an immediate humanitarian truce to ensure safe and unhindered access to children and families in Gaza.
