TAIZ, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Islah militants in Taiz have failed in their inspection campaigns against exchange shops which violate orders in the city and the countryside of the governorate, well-informed sources reported on Tuesday.
According to the sources, “There are more than 115 exchange facilities, operating outside the law in the city of Taiz and its countryside under the authorities of Nabil Shamsan, since 2017.”
The sources confirmed that the total number of exchange establishments in Taiz governorate, which is under the control of the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, amounted to at least 177 establishments, including 116 exchange establishments operating illegally (unlicensed), while only 61 establishments are licensed.
The sources pointed out that the illegal exchange facilities began their works during the years 2017-2021, and most of them are in the city’s directorates.
