US dollar exceeds barrier of 1,450 riyals in Aden, falls in Sanaa

Yemeni riyal records new low against foreign currencies in southern provinces

SANAA, Oct. 01 (YPA) – The local currency continued on Sunday to deteriorate against foreign currencies in Aden and the other provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

The exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden reached 1,451 riyals, and the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal reached 383 riyals.

Sanaa and the provinces under the control of the Supreme Political Council are witnessing a noticeable improvement in exchange rates, as the selling price of the dollar fell to 524 riyals, and the Saudi price fell to 139 riyals.
