Niger’s military council issues search warrants againt 20 officials in ousted government

WORLD, Sept.23 (YPA) – Niger’s military council on Friday issued search warrants for about 20 figures from the ousted government.

The figures are considered fugitives and are wanted for their involvement in a case of “treason and conspiracy” aimed at undermining the security and authority of the state” following “the events of regime change on July 26”, according to the document issued by the research unit of the Nigerien National Gendarmerie.
