WORLD, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) said the kingdom is about to normalize relations with Israel, but the Palestinian issue remains important for negotiations.
In this interview with Fox News, when asked about normalizing relations with Israel, Mohammed bin Salman said, “Every day we are getting closer.” This is the first time things seem serious. We will have to see how it happens further.
He said that his country can work with Israel and it does not matter whose government is there.
The Saudi crown prince denied that negotiations with the United States in an attempt to reach a broad political agreement between the two sides, including normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, had stalled.
The Crown Prince said that this agreement with Israel will be the largest and historic agreement after the end of the Cold War.
MBS said that all the agreements are related to how Palestinians are treated.
The Saudi Crown Prince said, “If we succeed in reaching an agreement that meets the needs of the Palestinians and brings peace to the region, then we are ready to work with anyone.” I don’t want to go into details of this matter right now, but I want Palestinians to have a good life.”
