ADEN, Sept. 15 (YPA) – A security official survived an assassination attempt in an armed ambush set up on a road linking the province of Aden with Lahj province, which are under the control of the Saudi-led coalition’s factions, in southern Yemen, informed sources said on Friday.
According to the sources in Aden, unknown gunmen targeted the car of the office director of Aden security director Mohammed Al-Subaihi on Thursday on the main road between Lahj and Aden, leaving four of his companions injured, including one of his sons.
The sources added that the leader Al-Subaihi miraculously survived the assassination attempt. He accused the gunmen of the tribe “Burima” of Al-Sabiha of carrying out the attack.
The gunmen fled an unknown destination.
