Al-Qaeda arrests ‘Sharia judge’ in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 15 (YPA) – A sharp conflict reportedly taking place between the leaders of “Al-Qaeda”, led to the arrest of the “Sharia judge” for the organization in the Wadi district of Marib governorate, which is under the control of the Islah factions affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition, informed sources revealed on Friday.

According to the sources, the leaders of al-Qaeda, based in the Wadi district in Marib, arrested the judge “Abu Bashir” a year and a half ago. This was reported by the correspondent of the Saudi “News Al-Aan” channel in Aden, Assem Al-Sabri, on his “X” platform.

The sources pointed out that the “security apparatus of al-Qaeda” led by Ibrahim al-Banna failed to assassinate “Abu Bashir” during the last period.

Al-Qaeda camps are spread in al-Wadi district, east of Marib city, which is under the control of the coalition’s Islah party authorities, making it the headquarters of the organization’s leaders.
