Over 10 tons of expired foodstuffs destroyed in capital Sanaa

SANAA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – The Office of Industry and Trade in the capital Sanaa destroyed on Tuesday ten tons and 450 kilograms of expired foodstuffs.

Director of the Office of Industry in the capital Sanaa, Majed Al-Sada, explained in a statement that the destruction was carried out in accordance with legal procedures, indicating that the destroyed materials included cheese, yogurt and juices.

He stressed the continuation of the control and inspection of markets and shops, and the control of price and catering violations.
