Armed attack targets Tariq Saleh elements in West Coast

TAIZ, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Armed points belonging to the factions of “Tariq Saleh”, a member of the “Presidential Command Council” of the coalition, were subjected on Saturday to an armed attack, in the coasts of Taiz province in western Yemen.

Pro-coalition media quoted a military source in the coalition factions on the West Coast front that a point belonging to the ”military police” in the area of ”Al-Shaqira” the center of al-Wazaiya district in Taiz governorate was shot by armed elements on board a military vehicle.

The sources confirmed that clashes continued between the parties in the early hours of this morning, and they explained that the recruits of “Tariq Saleh” factions kept firing in the air in order to intimidate the residents of the area.
