Sanaa reveals new plot targeting Hodeida port, Sanaa airport
HODEIDA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The Minister of Transport in the Sanaa government, Abdulwahab al-Durra, revealed on Sunday a new plot by the Saudi-led coalition and its tools targeting Hodeida port and Sanaa airport.
“The coalition party and the mercenary government seek to thwart any endeavors undertaken by Sanaa to alleviate suffering through the port of Hodeida and Sanaa airport,” said Al-Durra, during a meeting of the Ministry of Transport with representatives of shipping companies, the Chamber of Commerce, the Red Sea Ports Corporation, the Navigation Chamber, and the Public Authority for Maritime Affairs.
He affirmed that the conspiracy against the port of Hodeida continues, the latest of which is the failure to be included in the agreement to reduce marine insurance, and the agreement must be comprehensive for all Yemeni ports.
Al-Durra called for an end to the unjust inspection in the port of Djibouti, which leads to an increase in costs, pointing out that “Sanaa will not stand idly by in front of any new attempts to restore the complete blockade on the port of Hodeida.”
During the meeting, the Minister of Transport stressed that all concerned parties should provide all facilities to merchants in the ports belonging to the Sanaa government, which were subjected to the most heinous air strikes and economic blockade.
