Saudi Arabia holds Islah responsible for its failure in Yemen

RIYADH, Aug 19 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia held Islah party responsible for its failure in Yemen and accused it of betraying it during its military operations.

Abdullah Al Hatila, assistant editor-in-chief of the Saudi official Okaz newspaper, said in a post on his X account, “The betrayals of the frontlines and handing them to the Houthis by the bankrupt Muslim Brotherhoods and trading the Yemeni crisis must be recorded in history so that future generations know how this organization betrayed Yemen and its people.”

This came in a response to criticism directed by Shawqi al-Qadi to Riyadh.

The Islah party and Saudi Arabia accuse each other of causing their military failure to confront Sanaa forces during the 9 years of war waged by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen.
