Shocking pictures show man killed under torture inside UAE-run prison in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug 15 (YPA) – Human rights activists circulated on Tuesday shocking pictures showed gruesome techniques in torturing the young man Mohammed Jamal Ahmed Shehab, 35, inside a detention center run by the UAE-backed militias in Lahj governorate, which has been under the control of the Saudi-led coalition factions since mid-2015.

The images circulated by a number of human rights defenders on the “X” platform showed the traces of brutal torture on the body of the young man “Shehab” inside the detention center, which is under the control of the “Fifth Brigade” factions funded by the UAE in the province two days after his abduction last week.

Moreover, the images showed signs of torture, beatings with sharp objects and cauterization with fire in different parts of the body of Shehab. He was working as an electrical engineer in the city of Al-Huta,

The UAE-backed militia put the body in the refrigerator of Bin Khaldoun Hospital in the province.
