Hodeida Governor: UN has not fulfilled its pledges towards Hodeida port
HODEIDA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The Governor of Hodeida Province, Muhammad Ayash Quhim, confirmed on Monday that the United Nations has not yet implemented its pledges and obligations regarding the repair of bridge cranes in the port of Hodeida.
Quhim pointed out in a press statement that the cranes, which are the basis for work in any port, are still destroyed.
“More than 480 items of goods are prohibited from entering the port of Hodeida until today,” the governor said.
He added that some ships are still subject to inspection for long days in Djibouti, and these complications are “deliberate war measures.”
