ADEN, July. 31 (YPA) – A popular market for selling Qat in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, was burned on Monday and the sellers expelled as a result of disputes between the coalition-backed armed factions over the collection of levies.
Local sources reported that the security belt factions of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) burned the Qat market in Enma City.
This incident came less than 24 hours after the outbreak of armed clashes between the coalition factions in the city, following disputes over the collection of levies, which led to terrifying the vendors and passers-by.
