SANAA, July. 30 (YPA) – Rains of varying intensity will be expected to prevail over separate areas of the Yemeni provinces during the coming 24 hours, according to the National Center of Meteorology on Sunday.
In it weather forecast, the center affirmed that the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Dhamar, Mahweet, Hajjah, Sanaa and Saada, Lahj, Abyan, Hadramout, and Mahra, will be affected by the scattered showers.
The forecast indicated that the weather may be hot to very hot in the desert areas and internal plateaus, with the maximum temperatures ranging between 37-45 degrees Celsius, while the weather will be hot and humid in the coastal areas and the Socotra archipelago, with the maximum temperatures reaching between 33-39 C.
The meteorologists also expected active winds around the Socotra archipelago and parts of the southern, eastern and southwestern coasts, with speeds ranging between 25-55 knots.
