SANAA, July, 29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology renewed on Saturday its warnings of very hot weather in various areas of Yemen, with maximum temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius.
In its the weather forecast, the center pointed out the possibility of rainfall, with thunderstorms, will prevail over parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Mahweet, Hajjah, Sanaa, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra.
It also expected strong to very strong winds around the Socotra archipelago, with speeds ranging between 28-46 knots, and also active on the southern and eastern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, ranging it speeds between 15-35 knots.
The center warned citizens against being in the valleys and passages of torrential rains as a result of thunderstorms, as well as to the decrease in the horizontal visibility.
