OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 28 (YPA)- 100,000 Palestinians performed the Eid al-Adha prayers at the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday.
Palestinian media reported that the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) estimated the number of worshipers at about 100,000, who flocked since dawn into squares to Al-Aqsa Mosque, where its courtyards were filled with them with the start of prayers.
The prayer was attended by Palestinian families, men, women and children, who had marched since the early morning hours from all neighborhoods, towns and villages surrounding al-Quds, as well as West Bank cities.
At the end of the prayers, Palestinians at the mosque’s external gates and in its courtyards distributed sweets to worshippers.
