Southern resistance stages protest against STC in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 25 (YPA) – The Southern Resistance has stepped up its opposition against the orientations of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa governorate, southeastern Yemen.

The resistance staged a protest  in front of the headquarters of the “STC” in the Nisab district, against what it called neglect and marginalization of its leadership and members by the UAE-backed militias.

It accused the STC of practicing regionalism and nepotism through not recruiting its members into the province’s brigades.

It is noteworthy that the STC pursues a policy of exclusion and marginalization of the rest of the southern components and forces, which resulted in the refusal of many of them to participate in the consultative meeting called for in early May in Aden and to declare itself the sole representative of the southern cause without the rest of the components.
