Number of STC’s militia members killed in al-Qaeda attack in Abyan

ABYAN, June 22 (YPA) – A number of UAE-backed militia members were killed and others wounded on Thursday in an attack in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that al-Qaeda elements launched an attack on a military vehicle belonging the the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions in the district of Mudiya, killing and injuring a number of them

No further details on the attack have been revealed.
