SANAA, June 20 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Zionist entity’s continuation of committing massacres against Palestinian civilians, the latest of which was the military operation in the Jenin refugee camp, which claimed the lives of several Palestinian civilians.
In a statement, Monday, the ministry held the Zionist entity responsible for the consequences of violations and crimes that violate all international charters and treaties, especially the four Geneva Conventions, noting that these crimes will intensify the confrontations in the Palestinian Arab territories and will constitute a direct threat to regional and international peace and security.
The statement stressed that the increase in violations and crimes committed by the Zionist entity is evidence of the failure of the Zionist scheme to gain the support of the Arab peoples, especially after some Arab and Islamic regimes normalized relations with that entity, in violation of the desire of the Arab peoples to support the just Palestinian cause.
The statement called on the UN Security Council, the UN Human Rights Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the League of Arab States to condemn Zionist practices and to assume their responsibility to protect Palestinian civilians.
