Child killed, 2 persons injured in run-over accident in Shabwa

SHABWA, May 14 (YPA) – A child was killed and two other people were injured in a run-over accident by an Emirati vehicle in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses reported that a military vehicle of the UAE-backed factions was traveling at a crazy speed and ran over three citizens who were riding a motorcycle in the center of Azzan city, which led to the death of the child Salem Abdelbari Salem Al-Aqel Ba-Awdah, and the injury of two others.

Citizens rushed to transfer the injured to a nearby hospital in the city.

The incident is attributed to the disregard for the lives of people on the main streets by the drivers of the Emirati vehicles deployed in the province.
