Blasts, clashes heard inside camp of UAE-backed factions in Aden

ADEN, May 08 (YPA) – Violent explosions rocked Aden city on Monday, which is controlled by armed groups loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

Eyewitnesses in the city confirmed hearing the sound of medium-sized weapon explosions followed by gunfire in the Jabal Hadid camp, which is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions, in Al-Mualla neighborhood, without elaborating on the causes.

The explosions and gunfire generated terror and panic in the surrounding neighborhoods.

It is worth noting that these armed factions are directly overseen by the STC’s president, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.
