HODEIDA, March 08 (YPA) – 2 Yemeni fishermen drowned to death and 2 others got survived when their boat sank south of the coastal province of Hodeida, western Yemen.
Human rights activist, “Aya Al-Samei,” said on Facebook that 2 fishermen drowned and 2 others survived as a result of their boat crashing on the coast of Al-Khawkhah.
Several activists on social media circulated a picture of the fishermen’s boat after it sank off the coast of the city of Al Khawkhah, which is under the control of the UAE-backed militias.
This came two days after 13 women and a child drowned and 10 others, including a child, survived, and 3 people got missing off Kamaran Island, north of Hodeida, as a result of the capsizing of the boat that was taking them to the island to attend a wedding.
