TAIZ, March 07 (YPA) – Gas crisis hit on Tuesday Taiz province and suffering of citizens in the areas controlled by the coalition “government” continues for several weeks, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources said that filling stations and centers selling gas cylinders witnessed long queues for citizens, in light of the scarcity of available quantities and their high prices.
The citizens held the coalition’s local authority responsible for exacerbating the crisis, demanding the need to look deeply into their suffering and find radical remedies for it.
The gas crisis in Taiz has been exacerbated by interruptions of gas locomotives by Emirati militias in Tur Al-Baha in Lahj province, levies carried out by armed groups affiliated to Islah party on gas tankers on the one hand and the sale of the province’s rations on the black market on the other.
