Senior commander killed in Abyan

ABYAN, March 06 (YPA) – About three recruits, including a senior commander, were killed on Monday in Abyan province, south of Yemen.

Media sources close to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias reported that unknown gunmen targeted a military vehicle with an explosive device in Wadi Omran area of Mudiyah district, leaving 3 dead, including the leader, Ali Aidarous al-Hard, injuring others, and damaging the vehicle.

This came after the STC militia carried out large-scale raids on the villages of Al-Jableh area in the same district, under the pretext of searching for wanted persons, and kidnapped nearly 3 civilians from the area.
