US drone strike hits house in Marib

MARIB, Feb. 27 (YPA) –  A US drone carried out a strike on a house in Wadi Ubaidah, Marib province, eastern Yemen.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal on Sunday, based on testimonies of local sources.

Local sources indicated that the American drone bombed a house believed to have included al-Qaeda operatives in the Jalal area in Wadi Ubaidah.

The sources confirmed that the raid caused a major explosion in the area and left at least two dead.

This American air attack came, in light of the escalation of air attacks on areas under the control of the Saudi and Emirati backed factions.
