SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center is expected clear and relatively cold weather in several provinces during the next 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the center indicated Sunday that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with possible of rainy moraine clouds forming over parts of the western highlands. Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb and Dhalea.
The center stated that the coastal areas might be dominated by fair to partly cloudy weather in general, with the possibility of light rain on parts of the southern coast, and the winds to be active in the south of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, reaching a maximum speed of 27 knots.
It stated that the weather in the Socotra archipelago would be clear to partly cloudy in general, with the northeasterly winds reaching 20 knots.
The center alerted sea goers and fishermen in the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of sea turbulence and high waves.
