Clear to cloudy weather prevails various provinces within coming hours

SANAA, Feb. 24 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected clear weather tending to be cold during the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast on Friday the cold weather may prevail over the mountain heights in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea, and west of Jawf, and Marib.

The forecast stated that the weather in the coastal areas will be fair to partly cloudy, with the possibility of clouds multiplying and light rain falling on parts of the southern coasts, while the winds to reach a maximum speed of 27 knots in the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

It pointed out that the desert areas witnessing an awakening atmosphere with cold weather at night and during the early morning, while the active winds reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots, stirring local dust and sand, especially in the deserts of Mahra and Hadramout.

The forecast sated that the weather in the Socotra archipelago will be partly cloudy in general, with the possibility of rain clouds.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly and children, in cold provinces to take the necessary precautions from relatively cold weather.
