Armed clashes leave killed, injured in Abyan

ABYAN, Feb. 21 (YPA) – Armed clashes broke out on Tuesday in Abyan province, leaving dead and injured, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the clashes broke out between gunmen from Al Yaslam and Al Shaqra tribes, which led to the death of a person named Nasser Zaid, and another gunman was injured without knowing his identity.

The sources also pointed out that the clashes erupted due to tribal revolts and the dead man was from the tribes of Al Shaqra.
