STC accuses pro-coalition minister of corruption

ADEN, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia accused on Thursday the former defense minister of corruption.

Media outlets affiliated with the STC published a new document against Mohammad al-Maqdashi, a former minister of defense in the coalition-backed government, which revealed the minister’s purchase of damaged ammunition at about 50 billion riyals.

It was not clear the motives for leaking the documents that believed it be part of the campaign led by Abu Zaraa al-Muharrami against the coalition-funded government or to blackmail al-Maqdashi.
