MARIB, Jan. 24 (YPA) – Dozens of health and medical personnel went out on Monday in Marib city, which is controlled by Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition, calling on international organizations not to reduce their monthly incentives granted to them.
This comes at a time the Islah authorities receive huge resources from the oil and gas revenues of the province.
The protesters confirmed that the reduction of 60% of the financial incentives granted to them by international organizations from this month would lead to stopping of 58 health facilities and mobile medical teams.
They noted that the authorities there were unable to grant them incentives from the financial revenues, which their fate is unknown.
According to economic reports issued during 2021, the Islah Party has looted approximately 52 billion Yemeni riyals per month from oil and gas revenues in Marib since 2015.
The real estate investments of Yemeni personalities in Turkey, most of whom are affiliated with the Islah party, increased to about 5,390 properties, worth 1,347,500,000 US dollars until September 2021, according to the Turkish Statistics Authority.
