SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – A slight rise in temperatures is expected during the next 24 hours in Yemeni provinces witnessing cold weather, the National Center of Meteorology said.
The center indicated in its weather bulletin on Sunday that the weather to be remained cold in the provinces of Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Amran, Saada, Dhalea and Ibb.
The winds may remain active to strong, with a speed of up to 32 knots, in the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, working to strike the sea and the height of the waves.
The center warned the elderly, the sick, children, workers during the night and early morning, farmers, cattle herders and beekeepers of the cold weather.
It explained that the lowest temperatures in some meteorological stations recorded 3.5 in Dhamar, 3.6 in Amran, 4.5 in Sanaa, 7 in Saada, 8.1 in Seiyun, and 11.5 in Mahweet.
