Massive fire leaves material damage in Seiyun

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 20 (YPA) – A massive fire on Friday broke out at an office in the city of Seiyun, the capital of the Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the fire broke out at the office of “Habat Reeh Land Transport Office”, in the center of Seiyun city, leaving heavy material damages.

They explained that an electrical short circuit has triggered a fire at the office.

It also caused a state of terror among the residents of the building and neighboring buildings, amid rising flames and smoke plumes in the sky of the area.

Witnesses said that citizens rushed to put out the fire by various available means in the absence of civil defense vehicles, in Seiyun, the center of the oil-rich province.
