SHABWA, Dec. 31 (YPA) – A number of schools closed their doors to students on Saturday due to continuing clashes between pro-coalition gunmen west of Ataq city, the capital of Shabwa province.
Local sources confirmed that the clashes that broke out yesterday, between al-Hammam and Al-Dhafir tribes in al-Chrome area of Nissab district, with various types of light and medium weapons, because of tribal revolts.
The sources indicated that the confrontations led to the closure of a number of schools in the area, causing a state of panic and fear among the residents and their siege inside the houses.
The coalition forces are pursuing a policy of divide and conquer between the people of the oil regions, financing conflicts between them to achieve their military and economic interests.
