US-British-Gulf moves seek to inflame situation inside Jordan: Jordanian politician

SANAA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Member of the Political Bureau of the Jordanian Popular Movement, Mohammed Ahmad al-Rousan, warned of the American-British-Gulf moves to inflame the situation inside Jordan.

“It is not the first time that some from the Gulf countries have taken advantage of the peaceful protests taking place in Jordan due to the systematic starvation policies by aggravating what is happening through tools in the joints of the state by organizing crowds to take advantage of any opportunity for protest related to the economic and social situation,” he added.

Al-Rousan said that the American joint defense treaty that former President Trump imposed on Jordan by force and hatred, and the Muslim Brotherhood did not practically oppose it on the ground, and it had been promoted by civil society institutions, which are intelligence windows inside Jordan.”

He explained that the Jordanian state has been suffering from a severe and deep shortage, vertically and horizontally, in the skills of strategic flexibility, not realized the significance of what going on in its external environment.

The popular movement is natural and has internal factors and reasons, due to the starvation policies practiced against the Jordanian people by the government cartel, and because of the banking sector, the state of money and banking that constitutes the deep state, Al-Rousan said.
