TEHRAN, Dec. 04 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian accused “the United States of America of supporting protests in Iran, to pressure Tehran and force it to accept its demands in the negotiations of the nuclear deal.”
Quoting the Russian agency “Sputnik”, Amir-Abdollahian said, at a press conference, on Sunday, that “one of Washington’s goals in supporting the riots in Iran is to force Tehran to accept its demands related to nuclear negotiations.”
“Washington and other Western countries are encouraging the ongoing riots in our country, and Washington aims to pressure Tehran to make concessions.”
He continued: “There are Western countries that take advantage of what happened in our country in order to interfere in our internal affairs,” stressing: “We will not allow unrest and assassinations in our country.”
Nuclear talks between Iran and Western countries on a return to the 2015 nuclear deal have stalled because Washington and Tehran have not agreed on the final text of the agreement.
