New confrontations erupt in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 21 (YPA) – Violent confrontations have been renewed for the second day in a row, between Sanaa forces and the Saudi-led coalition forces, in the city of Taiz, southwest of Yemen.

Local sources said the battles widened between the two sides from the northern fronts to reach the eastern areas of the city of Taiz, noting that the coalition forces launched the most violent attack and artillery shelling on the positions of the Sanaa forces on the northern and eastern fronts of the city.

The sources affirmed that the fiercest clashes broke out in “Kalaba” area of the city, which resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides.

This attack came one day after a large-scale military attack launched by the coalition forces on the positions of the Sanaa forces in Al-Zanouj area and the outskirts of Osayfara area.
