WORLD, Nov. 15 (YPA) – Sudan’s military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has on Monday congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on his election victory, pledging to step up cooperation between the countries.
“I congratulate you on your victory in the elections and look forward to continuing our cooperation in order to promote relations in all areas for the benefit of the citizens of both countries,” Burhan writes, according to Netanyahu’s office.
Khartoum signed a normalization agreement with the Israeli enemy in January 2021.
Al-Burhan stressed that he remains committed to the international agreements signed by his country, after he took power in October 2021 in Sudan.
The Palestinians denounced the normalization agreements and described it as a “betrayal”.
