Iran’s FM summons Norway ambassador

TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Monday summoned the Norwegian ambassador to Tehran in protest against the unacceptable statements of the Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament against Iran.

Fars news agency said that the Ambassador of Norway to Iran was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Director-General of West Europe Department to lodg protest against the unacceptable statements of the Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the meeting, the statements of the Speaker of the Parliament of Norway in an interview with one of the adversary media outlets in support of the riots and his interference in Iran’s internal affairs were strongly condemned and rejected.

The Norwegian envoy stated that he will convey Iranian officials’ viewpoints to the authorities of his respective country.
