FM affirms success of diplomacy in revealing coalition’s agenda in Yemen
SANAA, Nov. 06 (YPA) – Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf, on Sunday said that Yemeni diplomacy has achieved remarkable success in conveying the grievances of the Yemeni people to the world and revealing the hidden agenda of the Saudi-led coalition countries in Yemen.
During his chairing a meeting held to discuss the level of implementation of the ministry’s plan for the year 1444 AH, the Foreign Minister indicated that the coalition countries had used mercenaries to achieve an illegal presence on the ground, especially in the archipelago of Socotra Island and Mayoun Island.
“Over eight years, the coalition countries have deliberately destroyed the infrastructure in various provinces, which made many countries understand the reality of the aggression and call for a political solution in Yemen,” Sharaf added.
The Foreign Minister referred to the successful role of the Consular Department at the Foreign Ministry in providing its services to the public in an organized and effective manner.
He pointed out that the Foreign Ministry was one of the first government agencies to endorse a code of conduct for its members of the diplomatic, consular and administrative staff.
